OKAY, so lots of Zutara fans have been getting flack from Kataangers. Let me say this... Taang is my Avatar OTP! I like Maiko, and I like Zutara second best because Jetara is also one of my faves. Katara isn't my fave chara, so I refuse to debate with you over her.
Secondly... the whole shipping war thing is getting old, yes, the debates are annoying me! I like SasuHina and NaruHina, but not because Hinata's so hotter than Sakura, I feel she could effect Sasuke more and Naruto too. Zutara vs. Kataang isn't my conflict, it would be Taang vs. Kataang.
I do not like Kataang because she seems more motherly to Aang and more of a crush character (and skank) than Toph is. Toph seems more of an accidentally in love character a series always has. Toph is a lot freer than Katara and more open-minded and crazier, which is why I believe she'd be a good match for Aang. She is a lot like Aang in the sense that she's always had someone after her (her family) and people trying to keep her down and has always overcome that. Toph is blind and hasn't let that inhibit her or her powerful earth bending abilities.
She and Aang have similar struggles, they both have people trying to keep them from their goals, and they both have powerful roles depriving them of their childhoods. (Is that correct? >>

Nooow, if you totally aren't into the things I just said, read below for my life update:
First off, the Honor escort, right? Cool? Yah, but the paper I got said the first practice was on the twelfth and the calendar in the school says so too, however, the website calenders say the thirteenth and two other Honor escorts said it is the thirteenth too. Only I was gone on Thursday and Friday for Balarat (shatty group too) aaand the lady in charge of the Honor escorts never called meh back. T_T Since she's the vice principal I will probably not catch her tomorrow, unless I get there uber duper early. Life sucks, I hope it is the thirteenth, though, because my lit teacher likes me and will not debate it with me. (My Japanese teacher wouldn't either, but, meh, he's weird. O.O)
